Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to provide engaging virtual lessons in English and Mathematics to a 10-year-old child. The ideal candidate must be patient, fluent in English, and skilled at making complex concepts easy to understand for a young learner.

Requirements:

• Instruction: Conduct daily 2-hour virtual classes in English Language and Mathematics.

• Lesson Planning: Develop simple, interactive, and engaging lesson plans tailored to the student’s level.

• Support: Assist with assignments, exercises, and general learning improvement.

• Monitoring: Track the child’s learning progress and provide regular feedback.

• Engagement: Utilize interactive teaching methods to keep the lessons interesting and productive.

• Professionalism: Maintain punctuality, consistency, and a positive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum OND, HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent practical teaching experience.

• Language: Excellent command of spoken and written English.

• Subject Knowledge: Strong proficiency in basic English and Mathematics.

• Experience: Prior experience in online teaching or tutoring is considered an advantage.

• Technical Needs: Access to a functional laptop, a stable internet connection, and familiarity with tools like Zoom or Google Meet.

• Environment: Access to a quiet, distraction-free environment suitable for online teaching.
