Job Description:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resource Assistant to support our HR operations in Ikeja. You will be the foundation of our HR administrative processes, ensuring that employee records are perfectly maintained, leave management is accurate, and our recruitment pipeline stays organized. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is meticulous, discreet, and looking to build a strong foundation in HR administration.
Requirements:
Records & Documentation: Maintain and update both physical and electronic employee files, ensuring all HR documents (employment, confirmation, etc.) are accurately filed and easily retrievable.
Leave Management: Oversee the entire leave lifecycle—from processing requests and maintaining accurate balance records to ensuring proper handover documentation and generating periodic reports for management.
Communications: Draft and circulate internal memos, announcements, and notices, while maintaining a master log for compliance and future reference.
Recruitment Support: Assist with end-to-end recruitment tasks, including drafting job postings, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and preparing necessary interview materials.
Employee Support: Serve as the first point of contact for basic HR inquiries and assist in the execution of staff engagement activities, always ensuring the highest level of confidentiality regarding sensitive personnel information.
Onboarding: Facilitate the collection and organization of documentation for all new hires to ensure a seamless integration into the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: B.Sc. or HND in Accounting (or a related discipline with strong administrative aptitude).
Skills: Excellent attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel), and superior organizational abilities.
Personal Attributes: A high degree of professional integrity, the ability to handle confidential information with discretion, and strong written/verbal communication skills.
Location: Must be based in or around Ikeja, Lagos.
