Job Description:
- We are seeking a qualified and proactive HSE Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance on construction sites.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting safety inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting a strong safety culture across all project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.
- Ensure all workers comply with company safety rules, use of PPE, and safe work practices.
- Carry out toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training for employees and contractors.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor permit-to-work systems and ensure compliance for high-risk activities.
- Ensure proper emergency response procedures and first aid arrangements are in place.
- Conduct risk assessments and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) for site activities.
- Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and company HSE standards.
- Monitor housekeeping and environmental management practices on site.
- Liaise with management, contractors, and regulatory authorities on HSE matters.
- Maintain HSE documentation, records, and statutory compliance requirements.
