Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Assistant to join our finance team in Oyo. In this full-time, onsite role, you will be responsible for supporting our daily financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of our records, and assisting in the preparation of reports that drive informed management decisions. If you have a strong background in bookkeeping and a passion for financial accuracy, we would like to meet you.

Requirements:

• Bookkeeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate daily financial records and update ledger entries.

• Invoicing: Manage the timely preparation and processing of invoices.

• Reconciliations: Assist with bank and account reconciliations to ensure data integrity.

• Financial Reporting Support: Support the finance and accounts team in preparing reports for management review.

• Record Keeping: Ensure all financial documentation is organized, compliant, and easily accessible.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc), HND, or OND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role.

• Skills:

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • High level of attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Good organizational and communication skills.

• Location: Candidates must be based in or willing to work onsite in Oyo.
