Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Procurement Manager to architect and lead our end-to-end sourcing strategy. In this role, you will be the primary guardian of our operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your mission is to ensure that the organization acquires the highest quality goods and services at the most competitive price points, without compromising on delivery timelines or ethical standards.

As a strategic lead, you will manage the full procurement lifecycle—from identifying emerging suppliers and negotiating high-stakes contracts to implementing risk-mitigation policies. The ideal candidate possesses 5–8 years of experience, a deep understanding of contract law, and the analytical power to turn spending patterns into cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements:

1. Strategic Sourcing & Category Management

  • Strategy Execution: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with long-term business goals and market trends.

  • Supplier Onboarding: Lead the identification and evaluation of new vendors, ensuring a diverse and reliable supplier base.

  • Spend Analysis: Analyze organizational spending patterns to identify leakage, consolidate categories, and unlock significant cost reductions.

2. Negotiation & Contract Governance

  • High-Stakes Negotiation: Lead the negotiation of pricing, service level agreements (SLAs), and payment terms to maximize value.

  • Contract Administration: Oversee the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring total compliance with agreed terms and proactive management of renewals or terminations.

  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct rigorous, periodic supplier audits and risk assessments to ensure quality, reliability, and ethical adherence.

3. Operational Excellence & Compliance

  • Process Leadership: Oversee the purchasing process from requisition to final delivery, ensuring zero bottlenecks in operational support.

  • Budgetary Control: Monitor procurement expenditures against departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal discipline across all locations.

  • Ethical Standards: Implement and enforce a "Zero-Tolerance" policy for unethical procurement practices, maintaining precise audit trails for all transactions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5 – 8 years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 2 – 3 years in a managerial capacity.

  • Certification: Professional certifications such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or CPSM are highly advantageous.
