Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned, high-caliber Veterinary Doctor (DVM) to serve as the General Manager for our breeder farm operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our poultry breeder operations, ensuring optimal bird health, maximum hatchability performance, and rigorous adherence to biosecurity standards. This is a senior leadership role designed for an expert who understands that profitability in the poultry industry is built on scientific precision, operational discipline, and effective team leadership.

Requirements:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of breeder farm life cycles—rearing, production, feeding, and flock management. You will set and achieve production targets for egg production, fertility, and hatchability.

• Veterinary & Biosecurity Authority: Develop and enforce non-negotiable biosecurity protocols. You will lead disease prevention programs, oversee vaccination schedules, and serve as the final authority on health assessments and treatment protocols.

• Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze critical KPIs, including feed conversion ratios, flock uniformity, mortality rates, and production volumes. You will be expected to implement immediate corrective actions when performance deviates from targets.

• Leadership & Development: Lead a team of farm managers and support staff. You are responsible for training the team on global best practices, enforcing strict hygiene standards, and fostering a high-performance culture.

• Resource & Maintenance Management: Manage farm infrastructure, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels (feed, medication, and consumables) while strictly controlling operational costs.

• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure full adherence to industry regulations and animal welfare standards. You will prepare and present regular operational budgets and performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Mandatory Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).

• Professional Experience: 8–10 years of hands-on experience specifically in poultry breeder farm management.

• Deep Technical Knowledge: Extensive understanding of breeder production systems, flock management, and hatchery interface.

• Leadership Track Record: Proven success managing large-scale, high-capacity poultry farm operations.

• Operational Rigor: Demonstrated ability to manage under pressure, make decisive clinical and operational calls, and provide data-driven insights through reporting.

• Residency: Must be willing and ready to reside on the farm.
