Job Description:
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the defense and security sectors.
- The role focuses on building lasting relationships with defense agencies, government procurement units, and private security firms to achieve business growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the company’s cybersecurity market presence.
- Identify and pursue new clients within government agencies, defense institutions, and private organizations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development, bids, and contract negotiations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solutions with client needs.
- Prepare and present business performance reports to management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Revenue and margin targets achieved.
- Number and value of contracts/tenders won.
- Strength and conversion rate of sales pipeline.
- Growth in strategic partnerships and distribution channels.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development, preferably in cybersecurity, ICT, or defense technology.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity solutions and market dynamics.
- Proven track record of achieving business growth targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Solid understanding of VPAM standards.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and result-oriented professional.
